Man stabs his younger brother to death in Edo State.


A man identified as Kabir has stabbed his younger brother, Suleiman to death in Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State.

According to reports, it is gathered that trouble started on Friday morning, February 19, when Suleiman scolded Kadir’s wife for being rude to their mother.

Kadir, on returning home since he wasn't at home when the issue started confronted his younger brother for daring to rebuke his wife. The quarrel was settled by their mother.

However, Kadir later revisited the issue again but was once again stopped by his mother.

Suleiman who had let go of the issue and went about his own business was eventually stabbed by kadir after he was trailed by kadir.

Suleiman, however died on Saturday morning from the injury he sustained during the attack after he was rushed to the hospital on Friday night.


Spokeman of the Edo State Police Command, Princewill Osaigbovo, who confirmed the incident said that the victim died at the St. Jude Hospital, where he was rushed to for medical attention.

Kadir currently is on the run. His whereabout is unknown.

G7 Countries pledge to end fuel and diesel consumption by 2030

The group of G7 countries have agreed on a plan to end reliance on fuel and diesel-powered cars by 2030. As part of a comprehensive Green Belt and Road Initiative aimed at providing developing countries with billions of dollars in aids and investments required to curb carbon emissions, the G7 countries also see this initiative as an alternative to China’s belt and road initiative which China has promoted in Africa and developing countries.
