Victims of Abuja Military Plane Crash To Be Buried On Thursday

The Nigeria Air Force has announced the burial of the 7 victims who died in a military aircraft crash near the run way of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Disclosing the information to Journalist Today, NAF said their remains will be laid to rest on Thursday 25th, 2021 at National Cemetery, Lugbe, Airport Road, Abuja.

The Aircraft crashed on sunday 21st, with no survival on board.

The affected officers are;

Flight Lieutenant Haruna Gadzama (Captain).

Flight Lieutenant Henry Piyo (Co-Pilot).

Flying Officer Micheal Okpara (Airborne Tactical Observation System (ATOS) Specialist).

Warrant Officer Bassey Etim (ATOS Specialist).

Flight Sergeant Olasunkanmi Olawunmi (ATOS Specialist).

Sergeant Ugochukwu Oluka (ATOS Specialist).

Aircraftman Adewale Johnson (Onboard Technician).

G7 Countries pledge to end fuel and diesel consumption by 2030

The group of G7 countries have agreed on a plan to end reliance on fuel and diesel-powered cars by 2030. As part of a comprehensive Green Belt and Road Initiative aimed at providing developing countries with billions of dollars in aids and investments required to curb carbon emissions, the G7 countries also see this initiative as an alternative to China’s belt and road initiative which China has promoted in Africa and developing countries. According to a report published by the British Government, the G7 nations want to consent to a “nature Compact” that will “halt and reverse: biodiversity loss by 2030.
