I Can’t Bring Myself Low To Wike’s Level - Ameachi Hits Back At Wike

Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Ameachi has hit back at the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.

While featuring in an Arise Television on Thursday, March 11, He said he doesn't want to descend to Wike's level as he is way ahead of him.

“I don’t think I want to address the issue of the governor, I have made my point, I have moved on. He was my staff, I can’t bring myself low. I was a governor, I was also a speaker, I’m a minister. I was two-term chairman of governors’ forum. The same when I was a speaker. Why should I be discussing about him?”

This is coming after the Governor accused the Federal Government of shielding the former Governor from prosecution on corruption.

Wike said, "You sold our properties, everything. And people are talking in this state because of the government that says they are fighting corruption and protecting people. You sold our property for $308m and kept for us $208,000."

The two men has been in loggerheads since 2014 with the exchange of words and power tussle.
