Ogboni Confraternity better known as Osugbo Society of Ijebuland has been sued by some daughters of late Monarch of Aba-Aiyepe in Ogun State, Rauf Adebayo Raji-Suleimon.
This is coming after the society went and took the corpe of the late Monarch during burial.
According to the Monarch's daughters they described their late father as a devout Muslim who performed the pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina. The daughters are Aderonke Egunjimi, Tiwalade Abass, and Adeyemi Joseph.
The Monarch was to be buried on 24th January, 2021 after all funeral arrangements had been concluded with visitors invited.
They have therefore instituted a N50 billion lawsuit against the society through their lawyer, Bolaji Ayorinde (SAN), and also sought the court to mandate the society to return their fathers corpe to their custody at their Family House being at No 1, Alaye Aba Street, Aba Quarters, Aiyepe, Ogun State.
