"Release Baba Ijesha on bail now. It is illegal to deny anyone bail"- Yomi Fabiyi tells police

Actor Yomi Fabiyi have continued to wade into the rape allegation of his colleague actor Baba Ijesha.

In a post on his Instagram page, he his asking the police to release his colleague on bail.

According to him, it is against the law to hold a suspect without trial. He added that it is illegal to deny anyone bail for a bailable offence.

Recall, Baba Ijesha has been in police custody for over two weeks after he was arrested for allegedly defiling a minor who is the foster daughter of comedienne, Princess.

G7 Countries pledge to end fuel and diesel consumption by 2030

The group of G7 countries have agreed on a plan to end reliance on fuel and diesel-powered cars by 2030. As part of a comprehensive Green Belt and Road Initiative aimed at providing developing countries with billions of dollars in aids and investments required to curb carbon emissions, the G7 countries also see this initiative as an alternative to China’s belt and road initiative which China has promoted in Africa and developing countries.
